I have had the good fortune of being a participant in an educational and interactive program sponsored by the Illinois Farm Bureau. The program hosts 'City Moms' who spend a day several times over the season attending informational presentations and touring Illinois family farms. We have been introduced to Illinois farmers and others involved in agriculture. They have provided valuable information and have answered questions that we, as moms and consumers, have brought to them. Most interestingly to me, they share the stories of their daily lives and work.
